History of Founding of Old Wasco County Pioneers Association copy

Wasco County Pioneer Association was organized on May 2, 1922 in The Dalles, Oregon.  It was open to all persons who lived in Wasco County between 1854 and 1882.  Since then, membership in the organization has been open to anyone who is interested in early-Oregon and early-Wasco County history.

The Annual Reunion and Meeting of the Wasco County Pioneer Association is held the first Saturday of May.

The Wasco County Pioneer Association is a cooperating partner of the Wasco County Museum, Fort Dalles Museum, Columbia Gorge Discovery Center, and other local historical interests. We urge you to support all of them.

The Association is a non-profit Oregon corporation.
